Tongo Hill Cottages

This amazing hotel is a bit tucked away from the main roads, and you get a slight village vibe from the animal sounds, but the grounds are very well-maintained. There's no restaurant on-site, but you can order delivery, and breakfast is also delivered. They conveniently offer scooter rentals and tours at reasonable prices right at the hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There's also a common area with hammocks, movies, board games, and more.

Коттедж довольно атмосферный. Но есть вопросы: мало розеток и они крайне не удобно находятся (дорога ужас до места). Ночь стоял на заряде тел и не зарядился. Мошки и прочая насекомая тварь достала. Ночью лай собак а с 4 утра петухов- это атас. Но дают беруши. Если не любите собак - вам не сюда. Я просто люблю. Внимательные сотрудники, готовые помочь. Отличный массаж. Есть гамаки.

We stayed three nights at this hotel. We have absolutely no complaints; everything was perfect. The staff is friendly, pleasant, efficient, and very attentive. All the services are extremely well explained in various booklets and with QR codes. We received a very good explanation of how the hotel works upon arrival. The property is nestled in lush greenery. All the cottages are made of bamboo. The decor is tasteful. The place is very clean. The accommodations are all of the same high standard. The outdoor showers are stunning with lovely lighting in the evening. There's plenty of space to spread out and store your luggage inside the room; everything has been thought of. The breakfasts are truly delicious and served directly on your terrace. There's a social area with background music, a coffee corner, tea, and water available all day, games, and tables. You can also roast marshmallows at an extra cost of 250P; it's a great way to spend some time. There's also the option of having a projector in the outdoor area to watch a movie. There's also a massage area where you can book a treatment (starting at 700P). You can also have your clothes washed; it's not done on-site, they outsource it, but the service is excellent and very inexpensive (320P for 5kg). Our favorite accommodation and breakfast so far during our stay, a big thank you to the hotel team for their smiles, kindness, and quick responses to all our requests on WhatsApp 🙂

The best hotel of our two weeks! A real nature retreat. Superb cabins. Attentive staff. We had our meals delivered because we really didn't want to go back to the noise of the city.

The location is perfect for disconnecting in the heart of nature. The cottages are very charming, with a particular highlight being the outdoor shower. The breakfast is very good and the staff very friendly. Being surrounded by nature, the hotel is located near farms, which creates a constant noise (roosters, dogs, etc.). It takes 10 minutes by scooter to reach the center of Moalboal.

The hotel is beautiful, the scenery is stunning. Good value for money. We had a lovely week at Tongo Hills, a true paradise and hidden gem. The staff is super friendly and creates a welcoming atmosphere. From giving us local recommendations to making sure we were having a good time, they nailed the service and chilled vibe. Kudos to Charlie and his family for building this beautiful nirvana. We'll definitely be back! Cons: The road to the hotel is very bad, but like anywhere else in the Philippines, the area is expanding, and you'll hear construction noise throughout the day. There's also no soundproofing whatsoever (we heard not only the roosters crowing and dogs barking in the morning, but also everything our neighbors were doing (lol).
