Nanning Garden Expo Park, the venue for the 12th China International Garden Expo, is located in the Dingshi Mountain area by the Bachi River in Yongning District. As a national AAAA-level tourist attraction spanning 263 hectares, it features over 1,600 plant species and opened in December 2018. The park integrates 18 hills with native forests, clear springs, turbid springs, lakes, and wetlands, creating a distinctive regional landscape. It comprises five themed exhibition zones—Chinese City Gardens, ASEAN Garden, Silk Road Garden, Guangxi Garden, and Designer Garden—totaling 69 exhibition gardens. Highlights include the Southeast Asian Specialty Plant Garden, Podocarpus Garden, Quarry Garden, Reed Grass Terraced Ponds, and Bougainvillea Garden. Six landmark structures like Qingquan Pavilion, Livable City Pavilion, and China-ASEAN Friendship Pavilion showcase Guangxi's architectural heritage. The park was a major public project celebrating Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's 60th anniversary, being the first international garden expo built in an ethnic minority region with joint contributions from ASEAN countries and Belt and Road node cities.

Show More ReviewsBuying tickets and getting in was very convenient. They have shuttle buses available for only 260 yuan per day. The park is quite large, and everyone was happy riding electric bikes with my parents.
