I booked a tour through Vietnam. I was the only Chinese person on the bus. The tour guide spoke in English, and I got the gist of it from a few words. The itinerary was a standard tour offered by the company, and Ha Long Bay was quite beautiful. The facilities on the boat were good, and the lunch buffet had a wide variety of choices. The service was also good. It was a shopping stop, but there was no pressure to shop.

A great one-day tour. Everything was organized, starting with the transfer. We paid extra to go in a small group, and it was a good idea because it made it easier for everyone to get ready and no one was late. The buffet was great, with food for everyone; we had a lot of Indians, and everyone found something to suit them. The sights themselves were magnificent. I recommend it.

They picked us up quickly and on time. The bus was old and bounced around on every bump. The guide, Bin, didn't tell us anything about the history. They fed us deliciously and plentifully. At the end, they dropped us off at some half-empty store with outrageous prices.
