Reviews: From Glasgow: Stirling Castle, Outlander & Loch Lomond

Fantastic trip to the kelpies, Stirling Castle and Balloch on Loch Lomond with Scott as our guide. Some interesting information shared and great sense of humour made it a fun day out. Scott was really engaging, checked in on everyone and made time to chat to the group. The only thing that let him down...no Texas tunes on the Scottish Music playlist!! A great soundtrack to the day though and some brilliant recommendations! Thank you Scott! Kirsty

It was our 9th tour with Timberbush but also our second one with Gary!! We had him as our driver-guide more than 4 years ago and it was so amazing to have him again! He is still a very friendly, funny, cool and full of knowledge driver-guide! We had a wonderful day with him, thanks so much to him for all these memories, he is an amazing driver-guide ❤️

We booked the tour 2 days prior. Our guide/ driver was Pete who was kind and funny. He was full,of anecdotes regarding the history of Scotland and the monarchy. The Kelpies was absolutely breathtaking. If you had only time enough to do one trip outside of Edinburgh, Inhighly recommended this.

A brilliant trip - the boat was great with plenty of space outside to move around and take photos. The commentary was very interesting and we learned a lot about the history and the construction of the three bridges. The captain slowed the boat and carefully manoeuvred so we could see some huge seals resting on a buoy. Inchcolm island and the Abbey were delightful - plenty to walk round and see and lots of history. The staff on the boat and island were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this tour.

Truly enjoyable and informative day trip with an outstanding guide / driver Calais. The Lindores Abbey distillery tour and tasting was excellent. The stop at Dewars distillery for lunch was also delightful with great lunch offerings. Finally finding the elusive highland cow in the winter was made simple by Calais, enjoyed seeing these majestic animals and taking pictures. All in all an outstanding trip to the Scottish Low/Highlands.
