This ticket is incredibly cost-effective! I calculated that using it for my entire trip was about 60% off, meaning I broke even on the JR trains alone. I bought a 3-day pass and planned to take the JR train to a different city each day. Back in Kawaramachi, I could even take the free Kotoden train to Takamatsu Port for a stroll in the evening. I highly recommend buying the JR pass to make travel more spontaneous!

It's incredibly convenient and saves a lot of time buying tickets! After exchanging your physical ticket at the green window, you can use it directly. It can even be used to ride the ferry to and from Shodoshima Island. Once you arrive on Shodoshima, simply show the physical ticket for unlimited rides on the Olive Bus. It saves not only money but also time, making it well worth buying.

After exchanging my currency at Kansai Airport, I took the HARUKA train directly to Shin-Osaka, then transferred to the NOZOMI train to Kokura to begin my journey. From there, I took the Sanyo Shinkansen and limited express trains back to Osaka, making it incredibly cost-effective.

The Seto Inland Sea pass was perfect for my trip. I traveled from Fukuoka to Okayama to Takamatsu to Kobe, and even with the pass, I could still relax and wander at my own pace, taking my time. The 7-day pass was also great; it was a very enjoyable trip.

The first purchase and use experience was good, but before exchanging tickets at the JR counter at Kansai Airport, be sure to do your research, plan your chosen train schedule and prepare alternative trains, then print them out and tell the staff to check the exchange details. This will save you time and effort.
