kongyaojiAfter consulting online guides on how to easily access Mingyue Mountain, I decided to take a combination of electric carts, cable cars, and more electric carts along the Qingyun Plank Road. The entire route was quite beautiful and well worth a visit. Afterwards, soaking your feet in a foot bath back in Wentang Town would be even more relaxing.

M36***96This was my first time visiting Wugong Mountain. The scenery along the way was beautiful, with dense forests in the first section and alpine meadows in the second. Although it was tiring to climb all the way to the Golden Summit, it was well worth the trip.

最帅到的旅途The Mawangdui Han Tomb is the burial site of Li Cang, Prime Minister of Changsha State during the early Western Han Dynasty, and his family of three. It is the best-preserved Han Dynasty royal tomb complex in Hunan Province to date. In 1976, the Mawangdui Han Tomb site was designated a provincial-level cultural heritage site in Hunan Province. Three adjacent tombs were subsequently excavated at the Mawangdui Han Tomb: Tomb No. 2 is the tomb of Li Cang, Marquis of Wu; Tomb No. 1 is the tomb of Li Cang's wife, Xin Zhui; and Tomb No. 3 is the burial site of Li Cang's son. All three tombs are vertical pits over 10 meters deep with passageways. The filling layers, from top to bottom, consist of burial mounds, rammed earth, white plaster, and charcoal. The burial chamber at the bottom of the tomb contains an outer coffin, side boxes, and an inner coffin. Numerous burial objects were placed in the side boxes surrounding the coffin chamber. In August 2024, all artifacts unearthed from Mawangdui Han Tombs No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 were systematically cleared. All the cultural relics unearthed from this Han tomb group are displayed in the Hunan Provincial Museum.

kkweonFor those seeking a less crowded and more relaxed zoo experience in China, the Changsha Ecological Zoo is an excellent choice. Its large, open grounds provide a comfortable environment for a day of family fun and animal encounters. One of the standout features is the safari bus, which offers a fantastic way to see many of the animals in a spacious, naturalistic setting. It’s a highlight that allows you to cover a lot of ground comfortably. We were also delighted to see two giant pandas, which were a definite treat. The zoo offers more than just viewing; the interactive experiences are highly engaging. We attended a memorable bird show where parrots danced, and one clever bird even performed simple math problems, amazing both children and adults. There are also several feeding events throughout the day. My daughter had a wonderful time feeding carrots to a llama, and we saw other opportunities to feed animals like elephants, though we didn't partake in that one. These interactive moments make the visit particularly special for kids. For visitors who might find the large park challenging to walk, the zoo thoughtfully offers small electric carts for rent. This is a great option for families with young children or elderly members, ensuring everyone can enjoy the park without getting too tired.Overall, the Changsha Ecological Zoo provides a wonderful, spacious, and interactive day out, free from the overwhelming crowds of zoos in other major cities.

Anonymous userThis was Mrs. He's second visit to the Hunan Provincial Museum. Last time it was just the two of us, but this time we brought our two daughters who were back from working abroad on vacation. The guide, Xiaoxing, explained things clearly and concisely, a world apart from the professionalism of the guides in the large group of twenty or thirty people we visited last time. This guided tour and explanation were very insightful and engaging, and we are very grateful for her professionalism and enthusiasm. We are deeply impressed by the improvement in professional guided tour capabilities in China. Thank you again to guide Xiaoxing for her professional service!

贝小贝193Tianxin Pavilion is one of Changsha's tourist attractions, but personally, I feel it's optional if you're short on time. Above the steps, there's a small square with beautiful autumn foliage. The entrance fee is 40 yuan, but it's free for seniors over 65. Feel free to stroll around and take some photos.

WOAICHIBINGQILINGChangsha's Wuyi Square is a captivating urban hub, beloved by tourists and locals alike. It serves as a transfer station for Changsha Metro Lines 1 and 2, with numerous bus routes providing excellent transportation access, earning it the title of Changsha's "city living room." The area boasts a thriving commercial sector, with large shopping malls like the IFS and Wangfujing Department Store, as well as distinctive commercial streets such as Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street and Taiping Street, offering an exceptional shopping experience. Wuyi Square is also a food paradise, featuring renowned restaurants like Huogongdian on Pozi Street, numerous Chayan Yuese stores nearby, and mouthwatering local delicacies such as stinky tofu and sugar-coated fried dough sticks. Wuyi Square is steeped in history and culture, considered the "origin of Changsha," with many historical buildings preserved in the surrounding area. At night, Wuyi Square is ablaze with neon lights, and the bar street on Jiefang West Road is bustling with activity, making it a national-level nighttime cultural and tourism consumption cluster with a vibrant nightlife.

顾苑With fewer crowds and beautiful scenery, the view from the top is exceptionally good. It's even more dazzling at night, and I expect it will be more crowded then. There's an elevator for seniors over 70; if you don't want to wander through each floor, just go straight to the sixth floor! Those over 65 are free, and those between 60 and 65 get a 50% discount. Regular tickets are 18 yuan. It's close to the city center, making it a great classic choice. You can even see the shuttle bus while looking out over Orange Isle, a truly wonderful experience.
