All the scenic spots in Chenzhou are great, with beautiful natural scenery and delicious Hunan cuisine. The Dongjiang fish, braised chicken, and blood duck are all excellent. A Healing Journey at Bailang Scenic Area In October, autumn deepened in Chenzhou. We spent two days with our elderly family members enjoying a relaxing and restful stay at the Bailang Scenic Area on Dongjiang Lake. The lake was shrouded in mist in the early morning, reminiscent of a fairyland. Sunlight occasionally filtered through the clouds onto the water, creating a shimmering shimmer. Strolling along the lakeside, a gentle breeze caressed our faces, and the air was filled with a moist, refreshing scent that seemed to wash away all worries. We first checked into the Muni Hotel, a top-rated B&B. Its wooden furniture and warm lighting exuded a homely warmth. Opening the window, the panoramic view of the lake and mountains made it impossible not to breathe deeply and appreciate the gifts of nature. In the afternoon, we enjoyed tea and chatted in the hotel, the smiles of our elderly family members as warm as the sun. The next day, we moved to the second-ranked high-end Ramada Dongjiang Lake. Its facilities are exquisite and comfortable, and from the lobby to the guest rooms, every detail exudes elegance and sophistication. Standing on the spacious balcony, we could take in the sweeping lake view, with the distant mountains looming through the mist, like a flowing landscape painting. In the evening, we enjoyed local specialties at a restaurant near the hotel. Fresh lake fish and fragrant wild vegetables captivated our taste buds, captivating the beauty of this breathtaking landscape. Though simple, these two days were filled with warmth and comfort. The beauty of Bailang Scenic Area lies not only in the tranquility of the lake and mountains, but also in its ability to slow down and spend quality time with family. Whether in the warm atmosphere of the Muni Hotel or the elegant surroundings of the Ramada, we felt a sense of comfort and relaxation. This trip to Bailang was like a gentle song, warming the years and healing the soul. It taught us that the most beautiful scenery isn't just in front of us, but in every moment spent with our families.

Going there at this time is really just for checking off photos; the misty atmosphere of Xiaodongjiang is gone. Because we got in quite late, luckily there was still a net-casting session at 11 am, otherwise we would have had to wait until the afternoon. We went to Gaoyiling in the afternoon, but we were worried we'd miss it. I recommend coming between May and July. If you're looking for a certain feeling, don't come here like I did, just to check off photos on social media.
