The Sanya EDITION

I booked a 'Listening to the Sea' suite at the Sanya EDITION and overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay. The room was incredibly spacious, with comfortable divisions for the living room, bedroom, walk-in closet, and bathroom. The wooden decor also gave it a lovely resort feel, making for a very relaxing stay. Upon check-in, the welcome amenities were thoughtfully prepared, including fruit, champagne, and a handwritten welcome card. It felt quite special when I first entered the room. A special thanks to Cooper, who provided consistently patient service throughout my stay, responded promptly to my questions, and meticulously arranged many details. My dining experience was also excellent. The breakfast at the Pǔ restaurant offered a wide variety of options and the quality was consistently good. I also enjoyed the buffet hotpot at Pǔ in the evening; both the ingredients and taste were great. Even the in-room dining food exceeded my expectations. Overall, I was quite pleased with both the dining and accommodation. In summary, I had a very comfortable stay. The room, service, dining, and resort atmosphere were all top-notch. It definitely deserves a five-star rating.

This is by far the best service I've experienced in Haitang Bay. I had a sudden allergic reaction in the dining area, and after a server heard about it, the manager came over to check on me, even remembering my last name. Staff members cheerfully greeted me along the way. In terms of hardware, the hotel benefits from its spacious grounds, and the public areas are tastefully designed. There are plenty of recreational and sports facilities for both kids and adults to enjoy. The breakfast selection is well-curated, without unnecessary clutter, and the Western restaurant generally delivers good quality. My only minor complaint is that the public beach area is completely bare; at least a small beach bar would be a nice addition.

My stay at The Sanya EDITION was a complete delight this time. I already thought the service and public areas were excellent in '24, but I was surprised to find the service had improved even further. Fairy reached out to me in advance to introduce the hotel's activities and the operating hours of its various facilities. She was incredibly responsive to all my needs, making our vacation much more enjoyable. The hotel is exceptionally well-maintained, truly living up to its reputation as a benchmark in Sanya. Whether it was gazing at the sea, enjoying a relaxing drink, or participating in the sunset ceremony, everything contributed to a wonderful sense of calm away from the city's hustle and bustle. Next time, I'll definitely stay for more days.

The public areas are incredibly beautiful, and the service is excellent. You definitely have to try their unique saltwater pool. The beach bar is perfect for photos. Choose a high-floor room for the best views.

Full marks for The Sanya EDITION, highly recommended! First and foremost, a special thank you to Mia for preparing the dessert – it was absolutely delicious, my kids loved it. When I first booked, I was mainly drawn to the hotel's facilities, but I never expected the service experience to exceed my expectations so much. From the shuttle service and front desk concierge to housekeeping and the pool/beach staff, everyone was warm and attentive. The shuttle driver was very kind, and the concierge staff proactively and thoroughly introduced all the hotel's services. Housekeeping was incredibly detailed, and the pool and beach staff were very responsive. There were constant delightful surprises during our stay. In the afternoon, there was even free pizza to enjoy. The water sports staff, considering my child's height, specially helped us book a coconut picking experience, which was novel and fun to pick coconuts ourselves. The staff at the Kids' Club were gentle and patient, and the activities there were diverse and abundant, keeping my child happily entertained. The chef at the Jin Restaurant BBQ area was very enthusiastic and even thoughtfully delivered pasta to our table; the attention to detail was exceptional. During check-in, the front desk staff thoughtfully noticed it was our tenth wedding anniversary and specially arranged a surprise decoration in our room, which was incredibly heartwarming. Even though we stayed in a basic room type, the overall experience was fantastic. Thanks again to Mia for her thoughtful arrangements throughout our stay. We will definitely choose this place again next time we come to Sanya!

Every time I come to Sanya, The Sanya EDITION is my first choice. Last time I visited, I didn't have a baby, but this time we came to celebrate my little one's 2nd birthday. The hotel is super convenient for toddlers, and my child had an absolute blast. Our butler, Carolin, was incredibly thoughtful, warm, and attentive. My only minor gripe is that the beach didn't seem that clean, haha. But that might just be how it is all along Haitang Bay. Overall, it was still excellent. Breakfast was as delicious as ever 😋 We were also lucky enough to see fireworks! And Sanya's weather forecast is truly unreliable; it always says it's going to rain, but we've had mostly great weather since we arrived 🙈

Our family stayed at The Edition, which is perfectly located in the center of Haitang Bay. Our 9th-floor room had a superb, comfortable ocean view. Right downstairs were the breakfast restaurant, saltwater pool, bike rentals, and double kayaks. The breakfast had a great variety to satisfy all tastes. Access to the beach requires a room card, which helps protect guests' privacy. Our butler, Allan, was always available to assist us and fulfill our needs, which we really appreciated! We look forward to staying here again next time!

The hotel's overall environment is clean and elegant. Wendy was incredibly attentive and responsive; she kept an eye on our room status since we were traveling with a child and promptly coordinated any issues. She was gentle, polite, and never overly intrusive. The value for money is excellent, and there's a kids' play area for children to enjoy. We'll definitely be back next time.

This is our third stay at The Sanya EDITION, starting as a couple and now a family of seven with a baby. Every visit brings a new pleasant surprise! Our butler, Wendy, is incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Traveling with a baby means lots of requests, and Wendy handles all of them perfectly, making us feel right at home. As a returning guest, I trust The EDITION completely; I'd choose it again with my eyes closed.
