Hotel Sunroute Ginza

The room was small, but clean and tidy. The breakfast was so good; everything I wanted to eat: eggs, yogurt with granola (best granola), natto, miso soup, curry with rice, bread, fruit, and good coffee, etc. They have a vending machine and a complimentary water and ice dispenser on the second floor. The only thing I would reconsider is the location, especially during the brutal summer heat. It is 15min walk to Ginza station and most stores, and 5min walk to Takaracho station(which was convenient).

We had a wonderful family stay at Hotel Sunroute Ginza during our trip to Tokyo. The location was very convenient, with easy access to train stations, shopping areas, and many great restaurants nearby. What really stood out was the kindness and attentiveness of the reception staff. We booked 3 rooms for our family, and they were kind enough to accommodate our request to have all the rooms assigned on the same floor, which made our stay much more comfortable and convenient. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. Although the hotel does not have a coin laundry facility, they do provide a vending machine along with a water and ice station on the 2nd floor, which we found very useful during our stay. We also truly appreciated how thoughtful the staff were when my daughter accidentally wet the bed. Housekeeping kindly placed a waterproof layer under the sheets afterward, which showed great care and understanding toward families traveling with children. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Tokyo. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of April and overall had a good experience. The location is definitely the biggest plus it’s right near Ginza high street where all the shops are and only about a 5–7 minute walk to the nearest station which made getting around really easy. There are also a few FamilyMarts nearby which was super convenient. Clean and comfortable but like most Tokyo hotels, don’t expect a lot of space. It’s compact but that’s pretty standard for the area. Good option if you want a well-located, no-fuss place to stay in Ginza.
