This homestay is so beautiful and clean, booked 3 types of rooms and they were all so spacious and comfy which is as described in the website, (Sunshine Twin Room, Relaxing View King Room & Jingyi Double Room). Their breakfast also very good and also the coffee. I would like to say their service was excellent, they made our stay here just like at home. Thank you so much to the team.

Fei was very quick at responding and updates. He help us find the hotel and carried our luggage through the old town street which is great because the roads are rough. He gave us a great greeting gift with fruit, tea, and local cake. And the room he gave us was amazing. Lots of restaurants, bars, and shops right outside the entrance. Breakfast was good too and healthy.

Definitely the best accommodation deal in Lijiang Ancient Town! Mr. A Fei was truly helpful and showed us wonderful hospitality. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the northern main road. The hotel offers a Halal breakfast, but we never had the chance to try it since we had early departures for all 3 days of our stay. Looking forward to going back there again. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful time at Songzhuju as a solo traveller, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The location is unbeatable - right in the ancient city (古城) but also only a 1-2 minute walk from the edge of the ancient city, which makes things easy when transiting to other places (especially with luggage). The rooms are spotless and comfortable, with a nice courtyard, and a specialty coffee shop in the foyer. Specifically, the service here is absolutely out of this world. Ah Fei (阿飞） from the hotel was like a local guide who helped with anything and everything. When I arrived, he sat me down, made me tea, and took the initiative to give me all his advice on how to enjoy Lijiang, with plenty of great tips, tricks, restaurant suggestions, etc. He upgraded my room to a larger one because it was available. He helped me with laundry service, organising a massage, where to go sightseeing, and how to stay healthy with the altitude. He can also organise tours and other activities (although I had already pre-booked many of my activities prior to arriving). He will add you on WeChat a few days prior to arrival - I would recommend getting in contact (WeChat has good translation features) if you want to him to help you organise your itinerary and activities. The photo is the handsome man himself.

We stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days. There were 6 of us travelling together from Australia and we booked the “Detached Four-Bedroom Suite”. Ah Fei welcomed us when we checked in and had been assisting throughout the trip. He gave us helpful tips and pointers while traveling in Lijiang. He showed us places to eat good food and buy tea. He is a hub of local knowledge. There was fantastic hospitality, authenic chinese breakfast included. The cafe had great coffee at the front of the accomodation. There are 2 washers and a dryer on premisise with detergent freely available. The hotel is located within walking distance of great bars, restaurants, and entertainment. It is close to most major attractions within Lijiang, and Ah Fei and the rest of the staff were very happy to help organise transport and tours for sites slightly further away when needed. 松竹居酒店整体环境干净清幽，早餐丰富，尤其米线非常好吃，地理位置也很好，不用拖行李走很远，一下就到了酒店，推荐大家来丽江住，店主阿飞也很友善，推荐了很多好吃好玩的地方！

I recommend staying here. Mr Fei helped us from the first day until we checked out. He explained everything clearly and recommended the best places to visit around Lijiang. Every time I saw him, he greeted us with a big smile. He was always friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
