This hotel is amazing for its wonderful service, cleanliness, friendliness, helpfulness and location. Located close to the north gate of Lijiang ancient city is very convenient for Didi pickup n drop offs. The breakfast is good, be it not western. You get free testing of the best teas from Yunan and Pu'er growing region. It caters for all tourists from all over the world. It is popular with Europeans , Malaysians, SE Asians, Russian s and Americans. I would stay here again.

The hospitality was exceptional. The hosts were very kind and welcomed us with tea and fruit. When I mentioned that I am Muslim, they made an effort to provide a breakfast I could eat. They also upgraded our room for free. The room had a lovely view and a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel's location was also very good. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Ah Fei displayed very professional hospitality. Upon arrival we were greeted with some snacks and tea. Roo was spacious, clean, and definitely recommended for families. Place is near to north gate, accessible to halal eateries with just a few minutes walk. Highly recommended!

The accommodation was excellent value for money — clean, comfortable, and full of charm, with beautiful quaint architecture. The location was superb, near the other north gate entrance, which was less busy and very convenient. There were plenty of shops, halal food options within a 15 min walk away, and places like CHAGEE nearby. The beautiful courtyard was especially lovely for relaxing, and it looked even more beautiful at night. Because of the cobblestone paths, luggage transfer was arranged for us, which was very helpful. Check-in and check-out were both seamless and hassle-free. We were assigned a personal butler, Ah Fei, who was friendly, helpful, and provided top service throughout our stay. He was extremely prompt in his replies on WeChat when we asked questions. We felt well taken care of from the moment we arrived. The welcome tea, fruits, and snacks were a very pleasant surprise, and the small café downstairs served very nice coffee. We loved our stay so much and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
