The Mangrove Sanya

First off, check-in took an hour in the lobby. There weren't many people, so I'm not sure why it was so slow. The staff seemed busy but nothing was really happening, even though all the rooms were booked in advance. Then, the cleanliness was quite careless; there was tissue trash on the bedside table. The complimentary fruit that was promised only arrived after I called to remind them in the evening. I only visited the pet park, and there were very few animals, but you could buy food to feed them. All in all, for 1600 a night, the experience wasn't great. However, the mattress was pretty good and very comfortable to lie on, which was a highlight.

Having a butler readily available was incredibly convenient; Lucy provided excellent service, responding promptly to all our inquiries. The resort is expansive, so we'll definitely plan a longer stay next time. There are plenty of pools, and my family absolutely loved it. The only minor downside is that it's a bit of a walk to the beach. The deluxe sea view rooms on the 10th floor and above are fantastic, and the front desk even upgraded our room! For families traveling to Haitang Bay, I highly recommend this place.

Sanya Haitang Bay Mangrove Tree Resort truly exceeded my expectations! The resort grounds are huge and incredibly calming, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and coconut groves – every step reveals a new scenic view. The Scarecrow Farm was a delightful surprise, with organic fruits and vegetables and adorable animal interactions, offering an immersive experience of rustic fun that both adults and children thoroughly enjoyed. Our butler, Nico, provided thoughtful and attentive service; he was warm, meticulous, and always ready to assist, making the entire stay feel exceptional. The hotel's design is grand, and it boasts numerous pools. It's a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, offering both the relaxation of a beach holiday and the comfort of a pastoral retreat. With its beautiful environment and top-notch service, it's definitely my top choice for a vacation. Highly recommended!

This was by far the best experience I had in Sanya! Ella, our butler at the Mangrove Tree Resort Sanya Bay, was incredibly warm and provided meticulous, attentive service. She even helped us arrange a fantastic photoshoot that yielded amazing pictures. The hotel itself boasts beautiful surroundings and a striking design, seamlessly blending ocean views with lush gardens. The facilities are comprehensive and modern, offering a wide array of activities. Our room was spotless and incredibly comfortable – a perfect 10 for comfort. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and diverse, a great way to start the day. The service was thoughtful and efficient, making us feel right at home. This place is perfect for families, couples, or friends traveling together!

Worst experience ever during my trip to Sanya. I thought I'd bring my child here for Chinese New Year's Eve, but I never expected the most expensive stay to be the worst. Honestly speechless. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable, it just sank right down when you lay on it. The clothes rack on the balcony was also really sharp and cut a big gash in my shoulder. One hundred percent do not recommend, stay away!

I brought my mother and child here for a vacation, and the environment was quite good. I raised three concerns, and the butler enthusiastically answered them all. For example, they gave satisfactory responses regarding room temperature, essential medical equipment like thermometers, blood pressure monitors, and AEDs, and even a late check-out request. My only dissatisfaction is why did it take me to point out issues before the hotel took them seriously for improvement? When visiting Sanya in winter, it's best to get in the water before 5 PM, and once in, it's better not to stop moving to avoid feeling cold. The hotel has many recreational facilities, but they weren't quite suitable for adults, so I didn't try them all. I only played badminton for a bit.
