Yixin Moon Earthly HYGGE|Space Art Hotel (Dukezong Ancient City Prayer Wheel Store)

Nestled right inside Dukezong Ancient Town, this guesthouse is a popular photo-op spot for many tourists, and directly across from a lovely cake and coffee shop. The owners are incredibly warm, patient, and always ready to help with anything you need. The rooms are spacious and bright, the courtyard is beautifully designed, and everything is super clean with comfortable bedding. I highly recommend staying here! The yogurt for breakfast is delicious, and the coffee is excellent too. The owners are very diligent and efficient, and so friendly – they even helped carry our luggage up and down, offering service better than a five-star hotel. It was truly heartwarming and thoughtful.

🏔️ The biggest surprise of my Shangri-La trip was definitely this Tibetan-style B&B! The location is absolutely perfect, right at the foot of Dukezong Ancient City. It's walking distance to both the Prayer Wheel and Sifang Street. The ******* decor in the room was very authentic and the breakfast was delicious. What I want to praise most, though, is the incredible service from the owner and staff – super warm and genuine! Not only did they arrange airport/station transfers, but they also shared so much local culture and customs with us along the way. That feeling of being truly at home is rare and wonderful. I highly recommend staying here if you're coming to Shangri-La!

The hotel environment is great, right near Guishan Park, making it convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, with oxygen supply, an accelerator, and a mini-fridge, which felt very cozy. Both the hotel owner and staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service. There was afternoon tea every day, and for a two-night stay, we even got complimentary pickup and drop-off from the station. The driver sister the owner arranged for our private tour was also very responsible. When we left, the owner even gave us a souvenir! Friends can stay here with confidence.

The hotel's location is excellent, right at the foot of Guishan Hill, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's surrounded by shops, truly the heart of Dukezong. The room decor has a distinct ******* character, elegant and cozy, which I really liked. The complimentary fruit and breakfast were both very satisfying, and the pick-up service was prompt and friendly.

The breakfast was incredibly generous, and we even got complimentary afternoon tea. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the train station. Our room was lovely, with smart home features throughout, and the sunset from the rooftop was absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful two-day stay!

We stayed for 2 nights across 5 rooms, and the rooms looked exactly like the photos online – clean and comfortable. The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore on foot. Both breakfast and afternoon tea were very generous. The most delightful surprise was the owner, who was exceptionally warm and attentive, even arranging transfers for us. It was a truly thoughtful gesture. Highly recommend!

Traveling with my mother, Yixin Hotel was, without a doubt, the best accommodation experience of our trip! I specifically came to write a glowing review! First, the hotel is not far from the ancient city entrance and very close to the Prayer Wheel Temple (Da Fo Temple). The terrace offers a beautiful night view, and it's super convenient for exploring the ancient city without getting lost. The room's amenities are very smart, with all-day heating and oxygen supply throughout the entire room. It was incredibly warm the moment we stepped in, and we didn't experience any altitude sickness discomfort throughout our stay. The staff are all very enthusiastic; they picked us up from the station, helped with our luggage, and offered laundry and drying services. They were incredibly warm-hearted, making us feel at home in Shangri-La, where the temperature difference between day and night is huge. They even thoughtfully prepared a souvenir for us. When we returned from a downpour outside, they immediately offered hot tea, which was truly touching. Thumbs up to the staff at Yixin Hotel!!!

The experience was great! The room had an oxygen supply (not the kind you have to constantly breathe, but built-in) which was very convenient. The owner was also very nice!

The room was spacious, and both the cleanliness and service were excellent. Its location within the ancient city is a huge plus, and I would definitely choose this hotel again for future trips. The owners were incredibly thoughtful, even giving us a parting gift. The only minor improvement would be brighter lighting in the room, as it felt a bit dim.
