【Egypt】 Emerald Green Seas and White Sand! Orange Bay, Giftun Island: A Slice of Paradise in the Red Sea.

Orange Bay is a popular beach destination on Giftun Island, an uninhabited island reachable by boat from Hurghada. Known as the "Maldives of Egypt," the crystal-clear emerald waters stretching across the shallow seabed are a sight to behold. ✨ With overwater wooden decks and swings, there are plenty of Instagrammable spots—every angle is picture-perfect! On the other hand, the island is fully developed as a sophisticated resort, giving it a bit of a commercial side. You can purchase your favorite shots later, which is a great service for those who want to preserve their travel memories beautifully. If you're looking to enjoy pristine waters in a comfortable, well-managed setting—even with its touristy vibe—this island resort is the perfect choice. ✨ Spot Information ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📍 Orange Bay / Giftun Island 🗺 Address: Giftun Island, Hurghada, Red Sea Governorate, Egypt 🚗 Access: Approx. 45 minutes to 1 hour by boat tour from Hurghada marina or port. ⏰ Opening Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (*Subject to the boat tour schedule) 💳 Payment: Cash (EUR / USD / EGP), some Credit Cards 💵 Budget: Boat tour fee approx. $25–$50 USD (*Landing fees and lunch inclusion vary by tour) ⋆. ݁┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ ݁.⋆ ✈️ Travel smarter—check before you book! Step beyond the textbooks and experience ancient Egypt firsthand

🏺 When people think of Egypt, they often think of pyramids, pharaohs, and the Nile. But when you truly step into this land, you will find it is not just about magnificent ruins: the urban bustle of Cairo, the ancient temples of Luxor, and the sunset on the Nile all combine to form a journey that extends from ancient civilization to a modern vacation. 🏜️ Explore the pyramids and get up close to an ancient world wonder Your journey can start in Cairo. Head to the Giza Pyramids to feel the architectural imprints left by ancient Egyptian civilization at the intersection of the desert and the city. The Great Sphinx is also worth a close look. The massive stone statue echoes the pyramids from afar. Standing among the ruins, you can understand the wisdom of the ancient Egyptians through the architectural scale, stone materials, and carving details. HHTravel has specially arranged a private, after-hours visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, allowing you to immerse yourself in the ups and downs of thousands of years of civilization. 🏛️ Luxor: Discovering the timeless imprints of the pharaohs Travel from Cairo to Luxor, where another scroll of ancient Egyptian civilization slowly unfolds. Visit the Valley of the Kings, enter the tombs where pharaohs were once laid to rest, and admire the well-preserved murals and hieroglyphs. Then, head to Karnak Temple and stroll among the massive stone columns and temple ruins. 🌊 From history to the coast: Experience Egypt in a new way The itinerary also includes a trip to the Red Sea coast, where you can slow down amidst the sea breeze and sunshine. Take a glass-bottom boat to admire the underwater world of the Red Sea. You will also ride in an exclusive 4x4 vehicle through the sand dunes, visit a Bedouin village, ride a camel across the Sahara, climb to the top of a dune to quietly wait for the charming sunset, experience traditional dune bashing, and feel the unique Arabian desert safari. 🍽️ Discover modern Egypt through its spices and streets Beyond the ruins, take some time to step into local life. Try traditional Egyptian cuisine, Arabic coffee, and desserts. Stroll through local markets and experience the modern urban atmosphere beyond the ancient civilization, from spices and handicrafts to street food. 📌 Tap the product card below to start your curated HHTravel Egypt vacation

Marsa Matruh, Egypt! 2 days, 1 night of pure relaxation watching the glassy Mediterranean, with prices so low they'll make you cry — traveler post in Hurghada

Marsa Matruh, Egypt! 2 days, 1 night of pure relaxation watching the glassy Mediterranean, with prices so low they'll make you cry

Folks, when you go to Egypt, don't just focus on the pyramids and the Red Sea! In northern Egypt there's a hugely underrated Mediterranean gem town—Marsa Matruh. There are no crowded tourists here, only the speechless blue of the glassy sea, breathtaking cliff-top sandy beaches, and prices that tug at the heart. Lock this 2-day, 1-night, step-by-step guide to your feed🔒 and let it unlock Egypt's ultimate chill factor! 🗺️ 2 days, 1 night · relaxed route plan · Day 1: arrival and cliff-top beach views · Morning: travel from Cairo by Go Bus (about 5–6 hours) or by private car to Marsa Matruh. From the bus station, take a taxi straight to your hotel (recommended: Reem Plaza sea view apartments, where the Mediterranean is visible from the window and off-season value is excellent). · Afternoon: hire a car to Ageeba Beach. Walk down the cliff steps to a bay with an incredible gradient of blues—the cliffs, sand, and jelly-like sea all in one frame. Straight-out-of-camera shots look National Geographic-level · Evening: return to town for a seafood feast at Magdy Seafood. Try the seafood soup, fried squid, and grilled shrimp. You can fill up for only a few dozen EGP per person. · Day 2: explore the Sea Eye and enjoy lazy time · Morning: sleep in, then try a local-style pizza (recommended: Uno Pizza, accepts cards). Then head to the Sea Eye. Look through the circular cave to see the different layers of blue in the Mediterranean—absolutely stunning · Afternoon: stroll along Cleopatra Beach and zone out by the natural tidal rock pools. Then visit Marsa Matrouh Port to watch locals fish and experience the most authentic Mediterranean vibe. · Return: head back to Cairo by bus or private car with a head full of blue memories. 📸 epic photo spots & shot tips 1. Ageeba Beach cliff: shoot from the cliff edge or capture shots on the steps for the full teal-green bay. Wear white for the best photos 2. Sea Eye cave: use the circular rock opening as a natural frame to shoot the distant sea for dramatic light and shadow 3. Cleopatra Beach rocks: find the rocks shaped like Cleopatra's crown, sit on them for a silhouette shot that tells a story 🚗 hardcore tips and nanny-level pitfall avoidance (key points!) 1. transport pitfalls: Go Bus from Cairo is the most comfortable option. After arriving at the Marsa Matruh station, hailing a taxi can be difficult and locals may quote high fares (for example, EGP 40). It's best to book a ride via an app or arrange hotel pickup in advance. 2. bargaining for a private car: attractions are spread out, so a private car is highly recommended. A half-day (4–5 hours) private car typically costs about EGP 300–450. Always confirm price and time with the driver before getting in to avoid being overcharged. 3. Sea Eye safety warning: go early! Afternoon high tide brings big waves that can soak you, which is extremely dangerous and may prevent access to the cave. 4. sun protection and hydration: Mediterranean UV is very strong and the climate is extremely dry. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are essentials—keep them with you at all times—and bring body lotion and lip balm. 5. accommodation and supplies: most local guesthouses don't provide toothbrushes, hairdryers, or other toiletries, so bring your own. Also, ATMs are scarce—exchange enough EGP cash in Cairo.

Egypt 9D8N Guide | Sharm El Sheikh Edition🤩 — traveler post in Hurghada

Egypt 9D8N Guide | Sharm El Sheikh Edition🤩

#bucketlistdestinations Finally made it to Egypt, the place I've been dreaming about forever! 🇪🇬 This was a 9-day, 8-night trip where I hit up Cairo → Sharm El Sheikh → Hurghada (just passing through) → Luxor. Got to see the pyramids, dive in the Red Sea, and ride a hot air balloon. Honestly, Egypt is totally worth the trip! Putting together a route you can just copy for your first time visiting 👇 DAY 1|Cairo Classic Check-in 📍Giza Pyramids → Sphinx → Egyptian National Museum → Khan el-Khalili Bazaar · Hit up the pyramids in the morning when the light's better and it's not so hot. For the Sphinx, don't just squeeze into the crowd at the front; the side angles are way better for photos 📸 · Keep an eye on the museum's closing time. The Mummy Hall is a must-see. Seeing artifacts from thousands of years ago right in front of you is honestly mind-blowing. · The Khan el-Khalili Bazaar has more of a local vibe in the evening. You can start bargaining at about a third of the asking price, but watch out for tourist traps. · We got a guide plus a private car for the whole trip, which was super stress-free. They picked us up and dropped us off, so we didn't waste any time on unnecessary detours. 🌊 DAY 2-4|Sharm El Sheikh Chill Time 📍Snorkeling + Sunbathing + Just Zoning Out We stayed at the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh, the biggest one in Africa. Seriously, it's the most beautiful hotel I've ever been to, hands down! You could literally just hang out at the hotel the whole time. The Red Sea is so blue it doesn't even look real. Your phone camera just can't capture how amazing it looks in person 😭 Even if you can't swim, you can still try snorkeling. The underwater coral and little fish are everywhere! Try not to pack your schedule too tight these days. The rest of the trip can be pretty exhausting, so having a few days to just chill is actually the best way to go. ✈️ DAY 5|Sharm → Hurghada → Luxor The flight from Sharm to Hurghada is about 1 hour, then it's another 4-hour private car ride to Luxor. If you've got the time, I'd suggest booking an evening flight so you can catch the desert sunset on the way 🌅 🎈 DAY 6|Luxor Highlight Day! 📍4 AM Hot Air Balloon → Valley of the Kings → Colossi of Memnon → Medinet Habu · The hot air balloon ride is seriously a once-in-a-lifetime experience! When the sun rises over the Nile, it's just unbelievably beautiful 😭 Make sure to book it ahead of time! The first flight of the day is the best! · If you're pressed for time, you can pick and choose which parts of the Valley of the Kings to see. The Colossi of Memnon is worth a quick look as you pass by. 🌅 DAY 7|Luxor → Cairo Luxor Temple → Karnak Temple → Sunset Felucca Spend the morning exploring more of Luxor, then head back to Cairo in the evening. Don't plan too much for this day. You'll be pretty tired from the early hot air balloon ride the day before, so taking some time to rest will make it way more comfortable. ✈️ DAY 8|Cairo → Beijing And that's a wrap on our 9-day, 8-night Egypt adventure! 💡Practical Tips 1️⃣ When you land at Cairo Airport, get a SIM card and exchange some Egyptian pounds first (definitely use a money changer! The SIM card line takes forever). 2️⃣ Pack some extra snacks. The food in Egypt isn't that great! 3️⃣ Try to buy your attraction tickets ahead of time through official channels to skip the lines. 4️⃣ There aren't flights from Sharm to Hurghada every day, so make sure to check before you book your trip. #Egypt #EgyptTravel #Cairo #Pyramids #SharmElSheikh #RedSea #Luxor #HotAirBalloon #ValleyOfTheKings #NileRiver #TravelEgypt #BucketList

Orange beach hurghada

"Orange Beach in Hurghada" usually refers to Orange Bay, a popular island off the Red Sea coast of Egypt. Located about 11 kilometers from Hurghada, it is often called "Egypt's Maldives." The most common way to get to Orange Bay is by taking a day cruise departing from Hurghada.

Red Sea

Bringing children to the science museum is a great experience. All interactive exhibits are open and there are no extra charges. The volunteer guides are incredibly patient with children, even squatting down to explain the principles behind the exhibits. Many exhibits allow children to operate them themselves, and they can learn a lot of scientific knowledge in just one afternoon. The museum has comfortable air conditioning and plenty of rest areas where children can sit when they get tired. It's cheaper than amusement parks and offers educational value, making it far better value than those trendy, Instagram-worthy amusement parks that are only for taking photos.

Desert Adventure Safari

Over the years, I have been eating and drinking everywhere, from the Fairmont series in Kenya to the invincible giant resort in Mauritius, and then to various six-, seven- and eight-star hotels in Dubai. My requirements for hotels in all aspects have probably become higher and higher without realizing it. In Hurghada, Desert Rose seems to be ranked among the top three in terms of hotel location, Red Sea area, various hardware equipment, comprehensive evaluation, etc. In fact, a score slightly above the average may be more in line with its overall performance. It is undeniable that the Red Sea is so beautiful that you only need to offer the entire private sea view of the hotel to attract fans immediately, enough to ignore the various other minor problems of the hotel~ Is this the legendary #God's gift#

Eastern Desert

The eastern desert of the Red Sea and the Sinai Peninsula is a very desolate place, and the surface here looks very much like the landscape on Mars. Therefore, many science fiction movies choose to shoot here. You may as well visit it and feel the feeling of an alien planet.

Giftun Islands

Giftun Island is an island in Hurghada, with long sandy beaches and beautiful island style. The water around the island is very clear. It is a very worthwhile holiday island in Hurghada and worth a good visit.

El Gouna

Gouna Island is a very beautiful island in Hurghada. There are many star-rated hotels on the island. The environment is really super good. The sea water here is blue and clear, and there are coconut trees swaying in the wind. It is obviously a beautiful island resort. It is really comfortable and cozy.

Mahmya Beach

Mahamya Beach in the Red Sea and Sinai Peninsula is a beach with a very beautiful sunset view. The coastline here is very long and the sand is soft. The sun umbrellas and lounge chairs on the beach are a good place for people to relax and vacation. The sunset here is really magnificent and makes people linger.
