Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata Station

The Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata Station's biggest selling point is its excellent location. It's just a 1-minute walk from the station exit, with a direct underground passage to the subway, and an airport bus stop right outside. This makes traveling to and from the airport and taking the JR to other parts of Kyushu incredibly convenient, with no hassle even with large luggage. The rooms are clean and tidy, and for a city hotel, the space is quite generous, making it easy to store luggage. The breakfast quality is outstanding, with a rich variety of options, including many local Hakata specialties. The hotel also offers self-service laundry and a terrace lounge, along with complimentary snacks and drinks in the evening. Overall, the facilities are new and the service is on point, making it suitable for both business travelers and tourists. The only minor drawback is the higher room rates during peak season, so booking in advance is recommended.

Great location, right by the Hakata exit. The tour bus pick-up point is right outside, which is super convenient. They offer free noodles, drinks, and snacks in the evening. Good!

The hotel's design is laid-back, stylish, and welcoming. The service is excellent, and the breakfast spread is fantastic! The room size is just right, and the layout of the toilet, shower, and sink is well-planned.

It's very close to the station, within walking distance. I arrived too late to enjoy the complimentary dinner, which stopped being served at 10 PM. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the curry tasted great. Making my own waffles was also fun.

This hotel is super conveniently located, just about a hundred meters from Tenjin Nishi Exit 1, making it perfect for families with kids. There's a really popular Shin-Shin ramen shop downstairs, but unfortunately, it always has a long queue. If I get the chance to visit again, I'd definitely choose this hotel.

The 20 sqm twin room easily accommodated two 28-inch suitcases, though the bathroom felt a bit cramped. Breakfast was the same every day and lost its appeal after two mornings. However, they did offer fresh squeezed orange juice and the freshly made veal burgers were quite good. There's a self-service laundry on the 5th floor, complimentary coffee on the rooftop, and a free happy hour in the afternoon. The location is superb, with direct access to the airport line from B2, and the airport bus stop right on the 1st floor, which is also the meeting point for most day tours departing from Fukuoka.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, and the facilities and service are both excellent.
