Keisei Richmond Hotel Tokyo Monzennakacho

I absolutely loved this hotel! The extensive breakfast spread was a major highlight, far exceeding my expectations for a hotel of this caliber. During my four-night stay, I looked forward to breakfast every single morning. My favorites were the fried shrimp tempura, the beef curry rice (the beef was incredibly delicious and tender), and the Fukagawa oyster rice (a wonderful local specialty). The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, plenty of hot options, and everything was beautifully presented. There was also a great selection of desserts. Another fantastic perk was the complimentary coffee, juice, and ice cream available in the afternoon and evening – especially the milk ice cream, which was absolutely divine! The hotel's location is also excellent, very close to Monzen-Nakacho subway station. If you're taking the Tozai Line, exits 1 or 2 are the closest, and for the Toei Oedo Line, exit 6 is the most convenient. I chose this hotel because it's only three subway stops from Tokyo Station, perfect for those arriving by Shinkansen. Plus, I really wanted to visit Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, which is within walking distance from the hotel.

The location is fantastic, very close to the subway station. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and a large supermarket, making it perfect for families. It's also very quiet overall; walking around the neighborhood is a great experience, with many Western tourists choosing to cycle. The hotel's laundry rooms are on the 3rd and 9th floors, and they're heavily used, so you'll need to keep an eye on the TV to see if a machine is free.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and quiet, with excellent soundproofing. The service is top-notch, and they provide a full range of amenities. The location is fantastic, very close to the subway station, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby.

The location is unbeatable, and it's very clean. For this price, what more could you ask for? It's excellent, excellent, excellent! I'll definitely stay here again next time, and the restaurant downstairs is great too.

The cleanliness was subpar. As soon as I walked in, there was a sock on the floor and a pair of slippers left on the carpet, not neatly placed on the shoe rack. The TV stand was also covered in dust. The only upside is its convenient location.

The room was a bit small, but for the price, it was great value for money and felt much more spacious than other rooms in the same price range. The breakfast spread was excellent and thoughtfully prepared. It was wonderfully quiet and cozy, offering a peaceful retreat after a day in the bustling city center. Despite the tranquility, dining and shopping options were very convenient; there were all sorts of restaurants and supermarkets right outside the alley. Plus, just one subway stop away, there's a large shopping complex that isn't too crowded. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tokyo.
