Excellent location, beautiful grounds, a good evening entertainment program, and a wide variety of breakfast options. Unfortunately, the service was the weakest part of our stay. Front desk staff were often difficult to reach, did not answer calls from the room despite 4–5 attempts, and were generally unwilling to assist with basic requests. Communication was also challenging as many employees spoke very limited English. We were initially accommodated in Nariman and later moved to the historic Salamlek Palace after raising concerns. While the room itself was better, the service problems remained unchanged. Salamlek appeared to be even more understaffed. There were also maintenance issues. We experienced condensation on the ceiling in the historic building. In addition, multiple QR codes provided by the hotel did not work, including the room service menu QR code. This is a beautiful property with great potential, but service standards are far below what should be expected from a luxury resort. Management should urgently review Front Office operations, staffing levels, guest communication, and service responsiveness. At present, the service quality is closer to a budget hotel than a five-star Rixos experience

Rixos Montazah Alexandria offers access to three hotel wings! I stayed in a bungalow and could use both the Rixos Hotel and Nariman Hotel sections, so there was never a dull moment! I enjoyed moving between the pools, private beach, indoor pool, gym, and even breakfast. Being located within the Montazah Palace Gardens, I got to experience both Egypt's lush greenery and the blue sea. This time I went for a 'glamping' feel with the bungalow wing, but next time I plan to try the Nariman Hotel wing! If you prefer a more modern style, Nariman is the way to go!

The view of the room was nice but I had issues with the cleanliness of the room and the maintenance. Food was not good regarding the quality and freshness. Staff was trying to help but it seems there was shortage as we had to wait a lot for the golf carts.

Rixos Montaza Alexandria is a wonderful place with a truly magical view. The hotel atmosphere, location, and overall experience were excellent. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of options and great quality. The only downside during my stay was that I requested an exception for a one-hour late check-out, but unfortunately it was not accepted. Other than that, everything was very enjoyable and I had a great experience overall.l

My mother and I came for a couple of days and had a wonderful time. This is exactly what we were looking for: a few days in Cairo followed by an uninterrupted stay at a beachfront hotel in Alexandria. The resort is huge, so we never got bored and always found something to do. We attended the daily evening shows/performances on the beach, did water sports, swam in different pools and on the various beaches, visited the spa, and tried all the restaurants within the hotel grounds (which had reasonable prices). You can always request a golf cart to get to all locations, and all the staff are friendly and smiling, always ready to help. We checked out very early in the morning, so the day before, we requested breakfast boxes. To our surprise, we noticed at the airport that these huge boxes and nice bags contained just a couple of dry croissants and two slices of cake. It's not a major negative, but we were expecting a more substantial breakfast, considering it was included in the price. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! 🥰

The hotel is located right inside the park, so finding the reception for check-in might be a bit tricky for first-time visitors. I booked a cabin, which was right by the sea. Waking up in the morning and watching the sunrise was incredibly relaxing.
