YHA Jockey Club Mt. Davis Youth Hostel (Hong Kong Island)

Environment: 240-degree stunning sea view Facilities: Youth hostels should also update various facilities in a timely manner, such as toilets, showers, and window screens. Hygiene: so-so. If you are too particular, you will feel uncomfortable. Service: Very good. Everyone is very nice. The room is very noisy when it is fully booked on weekends, and the kitchen and restaurant are also very crowded.

Location is excellent with easy access to MTR station exits and famous restaurants. Have to request at reception if daily cleaning is needed, which improvement is needed as the hotel rate is not cheap. Also take note that towels given got holes.

The hotel located somewhere close to 厚福街 so you don’t need to worry about food and drinks. About the services, the receptionist is so polite and patient. They tried to answer all my questions with good attitudes. That’s why I really enjoy to communicate with them. I have already bookmarked this hotel and will visit again.

Very spacious for the price with an amazing outdoor space which is very hard to find in Hong Kong.Tiny no frills reception. Room is clean and quite standard. Recommended for the outdoor space and low price. In a great part of the city with lots of coffe shops and next to the harbour. The room also has a sea view.

I stayed for four consecutive days, two of which were Xiaoqiang. First of all, on the first day, I was on the ceiling of the bathroom. When I took a shower, I suddenly saw something moving at the end of my eyes. Fortunately, it was already at the end, so I had to walk out with a quick shower , lead it underground and destroy it. Xiaoqiang has the length of his little finger, and now he thinks of it, he has chicken skin. The next day at the sink, when I wanted to turn on the faucet, I fell from a height and fell into the sink. I was so frightened that my heart broke away. Moreover, Xiaoqiang is very strong and fat, and he almost landed on my head. It was scary. experience. Reported to the front desk, but after the waiter came to the room, he cleaned up the mess, with a cold attitude, and asked us how many days we stayed. It felt like ”accept the opinion, and the attitude remains the same.” There was mold in the bathroom, and there were black spots on the bath towels. I had no choice but to go to other supermarkets to buy a towel for my own use, and also taught me not to be lazy and add more towels next time. I thought it would be easy to train, but now the training has made me nervous.

It is one of the best hotels in Hong Kong I have visited. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. Everything is down to the details. The room is big with a huge bathtub. We ordered room service for breakfast and the food was great. Highly recommended.
