We arrived at sunset in late November. A short wait at Paul’s lake and we were rewarded with thousands of cranes flying in. We could hear them before we saw them. A spectacular sight!

We came to see Sandhill Cranes
We arrived at sunset in late November. A short wait at Paul’s lake and we were rewarded with thousands of cranes flying in. We could hear them before we saw them. A spectacular sight!
Early fall birding
Ferruginous hawk, snow geese, few sandhill cranes the day we visited. Be sure to check the lakes on reduge, esp Paul Lake.
