Feeding Kois
Tirta Gangga literally means “Water from the Ganges” or the Water Palace, is a famous Karangasem Bali Heritage site.
It is located at Abang Sub-district, Karangasem, eastern part of Bali Indonesia🇮🇩 which features tiered fountains, gardens, and stone sculptures of mythical creatures spouting water into bathing pools.
Here, you need to pay the entrance fee which is IDR 40,000 = $2 and can take photos while feeding kois.
(Tip: you can buy the Koi food at the entrance gate)
👍🏻There are small souvenir shops, public toilets, food and drinks stalls, restaurants, and a public pool.
✨This is one of the most memorable trips I had, traveling about 3 hours from my hotel to get to this place is worth it. It is a must recommended place to visit when you’re in Bali.😎
📝visiting time: from 7am to 6pm

Tirta Gangga's natural conditions are very cool, this is because it is located at the foot of Mount Agung. The beauty and coolness of the location is what makes tourists comfortable and feel at home to linger visiting these attractions.
beautiful green view, it is also great for photo, the most popular spot is the front fountain where you can feed the fishes and take a photo with.
The boat around the lake will pass under the stone bridge, but the water palace is very small. It is estimated that it will take a quarter of an hour to circle the lake. The whole park is less than an hour to visit. If you don't take pictures, half an hour is more than enough. There is a fountain next to it, the sun refracts, you can see the color of the rainbow.
Beautiful place , it’s also quite and peaceful . I really enjoyed coming here on a short visit.
We visited the place right after our visit to Lempuyang Temple! A must see place in Ubud Baliz
Being one of the major tourist attractions, Taman Tirta Gangga is an astounding royal water palace owned by Karangasem Royal. The cultural pilgrimate site is marvellously contructed in the town of Karangasem with due respect to Hindu Balinese. As derived from the name itself, ‘Tirta Gangga’ is a paradise where ‘Water falls from the Gangas’. It sure is a complex comprising of eleven tired fountain and pools, well surrounded by tropical forests. The royal property also abodes adorning statues, lush green forest, and stepping stones attracting travellers worldwide. In the recent years, it is witnessed to be visited by people all over the world in large numbers.
Tiltaganga, translated literally, is the water of Ganga. It is a monument near the foot of Mount Agung. This monument was built by the rulers of the region before and was very old. The area of the entire monument is small, but the architectural style inside is very exquisite, and the overall layout is very exquisite. Especially some statues inside are vivid and look lifelike and impressive. Most of these carvings are made from Hindu mythology, demons, shuras and monsters, giving the entire monument a deep religious atmosphere. The remains look like a water park as a whole, the middle trail splits the huge pool in front of it in two, and the right pool has many stone pillars built elsewhere in the water, so that people can walk on the water, adding a lot of fun. There are many huge brocades in the pool, and you can buy special fish feed from the entrance. There is also a pavilion for rest in the pool. The innermost corner feels like an altar with a circle of carvings around it. A public bath is also specially opened here. You can go swimming, play, and see many children playing in the water. There is also a hotel next to the relics, and it feels like living here is also a very good choice. Overall, it feels very good. When I went there, it was the New Year holiday of Indonesian Muslims. There were many people inside. I can see that the locals also liked it. The overall environment is very good, quiet and beautiful, and the architectural layout is vivid and exquisite, which is impressive.
