Easy walk to a vast view of the area.
Couldn't imagine this hill would be high enough to have helped the Lewis and Clark expedition but a short walk up the hill changed my mind! What a view! Worth the short drive from downtown.
I was staying in Dillon for several days and went to visit the lookout. I can imagine this being a great place for a family with smaller kids to stop on a longer trip. There is a very short loop trail...
If you're a Lewis & Clark fan this place is great. The day we went we were the only people there. Be sure and stop by Beaverhead Rock; about 20 miles north of Clarks Lookout.

A fun place for kids to learn history.
This should be a must place to stop and review American History. It is easy to find and informative.
