Was surprised to see the comparisons here on TA comparing this to Big Ben. It's an average clock tower, which would be easy to miss if you didn't look up at the right time.
Birmingham version of Big Ben but slightly underwhelming. It's a nice clock tower but you could quite easily miss if you don't look up near the art gallery.
Until I saw this listed on Trip Advisor I never actually knew it existed! Hidden behind Victoria Square, Big Brum sits out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the city. You'd never notice it on you...
As our tour guide said, London has Big Ben, Birmingham has Big Brum. A smaller version and that's as much as can be said. Check it out when in Victoria Square.
