Formerly a Muslim community until was conquered by Alfonso II circa 1200s. Today just the walls of the old castle.and a circular building in the end, used as a chapel for a couple of centuries.
We liked Cantavieja very much
Quiet, very nice, and careful village, all in highly excellent views. houses like us, a lot of stone, advice go to the tourist office and schedule visit. at Hotel Balfagon in our house ...
