La Gorda
Interesting piece of sculpture in the middle of Plaza Santo Domingo with a lovely church at the end. It is really just to be admired and take a photograph.
Fat Gertrude
She is in a good location in Cartagena and has become a landmark! I have seen her image all over the place.
Great Sculpture
We are big fans of Fernando Botero who donated the La Gorda Gertrudis in 2000. It is right in the middle of the Plaza Santo Domingo,
Interesting point to take a photo if you're by the walled tail
The hotel is a beautiful place with a motion and nightlife.
Quick visit
Statue located in a main square. Not too crowded and easy to find/see. Nice for a quick stop pit.
