The Royal Scottish Academy

The Royal College of Scotland (Royal Scottish Academy) is the National Academy of Art. Its main purpose is to promote contemporary Scottish art. It was founded in 1819. It was named the Scots Academy in 1826. The Royal College of Scotland is located on Princes Street, Edinburgh. It mainly exhibits Scottish artworks created by members of the Royal College of Scotland. During his studies in Edinburgh 31 years ago, he often passed by it. This special trip, always go in and see. During this Edinburgh tour, the Royal Academy exhibited the works of modern British painter Briggitt Louis Riley (Bridget Louise Riley), who is the main advocate and representative of Op art.

The Royal College of Scotland is linked to the National Gallery but has a separate exhibition. The piece we see, known as the Miracle Age, seems to contain the history of the Academy and its members, as well as some of the famous masterpieces on display there.

Royal Holloway is the most visited university except the University of Leeds, and I like the big forest on campus. Trying to find wild garlic wild leeks fruitless! Hahaha

Visit the Royal Academy of Arts in Figure 1 ～ Figure 6. The Royal Academy of Arts Scotland (Royal Scottish Academy building) is located in the mound of Edinburgh city center. The building was designed by William Henry Playfair and built in 1822-1826 and expanded in 1831-1836. The building and the adjacent National Gallery of Scotland are both neoclassical and helped turn Edinburgh into a modern "Northern Athens". There is an exhibition of the works of Caravaggio, Italy's most famous and controversial painter of the 16th century. I love his work very much. The artworks are as realistic and dynamic as photographic clarity, and the rendering of real feelings impresses the viewer. The National Gallery of Scotland is adjacent to the Royal Academy and underground. The architecture is neoclassical and designed by William Henry Pleifer. The first time it was opened to the public was in 1859. The National Gallery of Scotland houses works by many Scots artists and foreign artists from the Renaissance to the beginning of the 20th century. Figure 7～ Figure 9

There are two art galleries near Scott's memorial tower, one of which is the Royal Academy of the Arts. There are two floors in total. There is also a display space underground. Large luggage is placed on the first floor. It is usually free to visit, there are special temporary exhibitions for a fee, and there is a gift shop.
