Small modern museum that explains how the stone pillars came to exist. Also some nice mineral samples. Worth a visit especially if you are already in Kastraki.

This charming little find is a good museum for learning how the rock formations came to be here in Kastraki. It won't take very long to go through and enjoy the exhibits, so don't pass this one by.

This explains how the extraordinary rock formations came about a long time ago. It gave more to contemplate while seeing the huge rock piles while walking up to the monasteries from the town.
