Fun time
We had a quick visit on our drive between Homer and Seward. Well worth the stop and we enjoyed a hike a look at the visitor center.
Nice unpaved road to see wildlife
Skilak lake road is a great detour to any drive from Homer to Cooper landing. We've seen bears and cubs and had a great time
Friendly staff
We walked in and used the restroom right away and then walked through the little mini museum they had which was pretty interesting. And then we asked the woman working the desk if we had to pay a fee ...
Great stop; nature trails
This review is for the Visitor Center for Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Visitor Center is definitely worth a short stop. No film at the moment (July 2023); they are in process of creating a new film...
Interesting
A beautiful exhibition. There are several well-designed paths from the center. But what is important is that the rangers answer all your questions with gentleness and about it.
