    Original Text

Usayama Shrine is a shrine with a history of about 1100 years, which was solicited by USA Hachimangu in 933. In the same precinct, there is Kumano Hongu Shrine, and when the Taira family fell in the first year of Yowa, the 81st Emperor Antoku was solicited by Kishu Kumano Hongu Taisha shrine about 800 years ago, and it was enshrined alongside Hiyama Shrine. It is a shrine that is the center of townspeople worship. There is a large brush mound in the precincts, and the letter "brush mound" engraved on the stone is written by former Prime Minister Hayato Ikeda.

On New Year's Day 2019, I went to Hatsumode at Kashiyama Shrine. It wasn't so crowded, but quite a lot of people visited. It was a little difficult to get there by car, so I walked. It is a shrine that becomes the center of the brush festival in autumn.

Every year, there is a brush festival.

    Original Text

It is a shrine located in Nakamizo, Kumano-cho, AKI-gun, and is well known for its brush festival held every September. The location is narrow and difficult to understand, but it's next to Kumano Junior High School, so I think it's a good idea to go there. On the day of the brush festival, a shuttle bus runs and you can go to the shrine from the parking lot in another place.

This is the shrine where the best "brush" is produced in Japan.

    Original Text

1000 This shrine was built more than a year ago by soliciting deities from USA Hachimangu Shrine in Kyushu. The shrine itself has only been around 300 since it was built. This is a shrine with a very large precinct, and deities such as Kumano Hongu Shrine are also enshrined. There was also "Bush Zuka" as the production area of the best brush in Japan. Every year, the autumn equinox day is an annual festival, and it was said that many people from all over the country come to the brush memorial service as a Shinto ritual for brush memorial service.
