Best to come not on the hotter days, when nearby Madison empties into here for a cool dip. They unfortunately succumb to cashless society.... No more iron ranger :(

The swimming area was closed, the water ugly brown, and nobody was there to say why. It certainly looked nothing like the pictures that are published. Spring runoff the culprit?
