The route guide is also solid, so it's a wonderful observatory that you can drive to, but the latter half of 4 km is a narrow and intense rugged road. If it's raining, think of it as 4 WD limited. Especially the last 200 m from the observatory parking lot to the top is dangerous, so it is better not to try. You can reach the top by the 100 m promenade from the parking lot. There is a clean toilet in the parking lot, no vending machine or trash can. The scenery is several times nicer than you can see in the photo.
The location that appears in the movie made by the citizens of Miyako City. In the movie, children walk up, but it's easy to climb by car. There is an abandoned bus on the way up, which is a shooting point. The observatory has a good view and you can overlook Miyako City.
