The church is located on the border of the village and the castle, and as a result St Castle Parish Church also buried soldiers. It dates back to 850 AD. Others hope it is closer to 1700. Until recently it has changed and added architectural elements. The park leading to the gardens of Princess Street is beautiful and so is the view of the castle.
