Shame no dogs
Shame you have a sign up saying no dogs. It's a lovely place to visit. Great views and nice snippets of history there. No dog rule just makes no sense

Montgomery Castle
Nice castle ruins, with spectacular views of the welsh boarders. Quite high up, with limited road access, so you'll want to park at the bottom and walk up.
No dogs allowed OUTSIDE ?!
The ruins themselves are worth a look at if you're in the area. They aren't extensive but they're free to visit. I would rather pay and have a bit of 'room' information. The whole experience not help...
