In Nevers (58), Carnot Square, on the edge of the Roger Salengro Park, you can not miss this impressive monument to the dead.
A beautiful monument in a beautiful location.
The monument to the dead is located on the edge of a very beautiful, children's playground, and it is a sweet reminder of the sacrifice of dead soldiers by performing their duty for their country.
It serves to perpetuate the worship of memory: “In the absence of eternal life, the eternality of memory”
It is a monument that has this inscription "To the dead children of Nièvre for France" and can be read on its main face: 1914-18 and 1939-1945 This also speaks to us, ...
