Great views, lots of good birding, a nice place to experience the Bays beauty juxtaposed against the marvel of the Bay Bridge, The Port of Oakland and the San Francisco skyline. We like bringing the kids here because there is lots of room to run around, bike, and explore the shore. Be prepared for windy conditions and for miscellaneous nasty bits of trash, but beyond that a awesome place to visit.
