The former site of the Jiaozhou Hotel, built in 1908, is the bungalow of the old Jiaozhou Hotel in the south. The building was originally built as the office building of the "Qingdao Latest News" newspaper, and in 1912 became the property of Weld, a shareholder of the Irtis Mountain Mineral Water Factory (Qingdao Mineral Water Factory), until 1914, and later became Jiaozhou Hotel, and the use has been extended to this day. The main part of the building is a two-story brick and wood structure, open semi-circular arched doors and windows, horizontal direction is divided by horizontal waist line, along the street facade is decorated with triangular gables, the two ends of the gables and the middle is decorated with exquisite small square towers. The corner is built with a hexagonal tower, which becomes the main shaft of the building. The tower is four floors high, and a helmet pavilion is built on the top. The roof is covered with red tiles and tiger windows of varying sizes. The walls are masonry with red bricks, the top of the arch windows and the yellow powder surface inside the gables, and the color matching shows the splendor of the building. The building was basically intact, and the tower at the corner was demolished and rebuilt.
