Coincidentally, with the invitation of a distinguished guest, Ramsgate greeted us with the afternoon sun and the cold wind unique to British beaches. The 40-minute drive from London makes the city a town for many "Londoners" living or weekend leisure. Quiet towns rarely see Asian faces, of course I didn't see other people of color.
