Steep walk up to waterfall. Great restaurant with good facilities though.
Plenty of places to stop as you drive along for photos and ideal just as a place to visit for a meal, drinks or a snack. Climb to the waterfall was hard but lots of people managed it!
Lovely half-day trip
Great little day trip starting with a ride through the valley and then a 1,5h walk via suspension bridges and along waterfalls up to some mountain lake. Not for old people though, there is steep ladde...
Through the Höll to the Riesachsee
when you chose like me to take the "Höll" option be prepared to climb countless steps (natural as well as man made steel ones) - with short legs quite a challenge. You are rewarded with beautiful view...
Riesachfall and the alpinsteig are amazing
Firstly, even the drive through the valley to reach the Riesach waterfall is absolutely amazing. You expect dinosaurs to come up any moment. The hike up along the river all the way to the lake is fant...
