When you climb the slope early in the morning, the locals are taking a walk and it seems to be a good exercise course. The air was so good that I was able to drop the red in the city (laughs)
It is one of the tourist spots in Shiiba Village. The dam I saw below was quite beautiful. I thought I'd go closer, but I didn't know the way well and gave up.
One of the best view points in Shiiba Village, overlooking a masterpiece of giant dams

It is a tourist destination that can be easily reached by car from Shimofukura, the center of Shiiba Village. By the way, you can reach it on foot (although it is not written on the map very much, you can go up to the park through the mountain road from the back of Tsurutomi Yashiki and through the Kamishiiba Dam). Lake Hyuga Shiiba on a quiet water surface on the dam wall, which boasts a masterpiece of heads. At the summer festival, you definitely want to see the masterpiece of fireworks rising on the water surface.
It is said that it was completed as the first arch-type dam in Japan in 1955, far away. The artificial lake created by the dam was named "Hyuga Shiiba Lake" by Eiji Yoshikawa of "Shinpei family story", and it is full 々 and water is accumulated. The overwhelming size conveys the difficulty of construction at that time. I think it is a facility surrounded by deep mountains and you can see the size of human wisdom.
From the center of Shiiba Village, drive a little 々 and go back to the back to see a big dam. There are villages and junior high schools around the Ueshiiba Dam. I feel like I'm blending into a mountain village. There was a lot of water in the big dam.
