Monument in front of Shinjo station

    Original Text

A monument in front of Shinjo station. It seems to be a karakuri clock, but I couldn't see it because the timing was not right. It didn't look like a fir tree again.

    Gimmic.

    Original Text

It's a kind of karakuri clock. It seems that the internal karakuri works at 12, 3, and 6. Unfortunately I was on a morning visit so I couldn't see the gimmick. It is finished by looking at the appearance only normally.

it was a memorial monument to the extension of shinjo on the yamagata shinkansen.

    Original Text

It is said that the Karakuri doll with the theme of the Shinjo Festival will appear on time, with the image of the tree "momi" in Shinjo City at the Yamagata Shinkansen Shinjo extension monument. I couldn't see the karakuri doll because the time wasn't right. It's a very innovative monument, and I didn't know what it was expressing at first, but I understood it by looking at the explanation board. It is in front of the building of Shinjo Station on the Ou Main Line.

and the fir trees are not visible

    Original Text

As mentioned in the title, it may be difficult to understand even if it is called a monument of fir trees. It may be nice to have the feeling of leaves or more green.

It is a monument standing in the square in front of Shinjo Station. If it wasn't called fir trees, I wouldn't know what the monument meant. It was made of metal and shined silver, and it seemed to transform into a decorative watch depending on the time.
