Small wooden church
I visited this by taxi tour. This was a small, cute wooden church on a cliff top. I was able to see a bay view from this church after climbing a flight of steep stairs. This is the first church by Yo...
It seems that the believers who were persecuted by the collapse of Goto in cold water did not escape and return. Most of the believers in cold water today are people who migrated from the neighborhood, Hirado, Shimogoto, etc. after persecution 々. The current wooden church was finally built in 1907. It is said that it was the first church that Yosuke Tetsukawa from nearby Maruo-go was the master.
It is on your left on the way to Yakenme Park. There is no parking lot, so I parked at the edge of the road and visited it. It is a small church in a small village. The beauty of Maria with the sea in the background was impressive.
It seems to be Yosuke Tetsukawa's first work, but it is a beautiful church just a short climb from the coast. Please note that the uphill road is narrow and the parking lot is narrow. The distant view from the other side of the cove is also wonderful.

It's small and cute.
It is said to be the early work of Yosuke Tetsukawa, and the ribwalt ceiling is certainly low, but it is a small and cute church.
