There are moderate stone steps, but those with weak legs have a free cane at the entrance. When you go up the first stone steps, you will find the largest thousand-year-old cedar in the prefecture. It is a giant tree where a terrible god lives. When you visit Ichinomiya, there are Ninomiya and Sannomiya in the back, so please do ^_^
At Kumano Shrine, there is an old cedar tree for Daitengu to rest their wings. It's around a really big trunk. It is said that you can see Tengu on the night of the full moon. It is located at the foot of Mt. Hiba, where the tomb of Izanami-mei is located. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to Ichinomiya. By the time you visit Kumano Shrine, order "Gogi" (river fish) at the nearby Izanami Chaya, and when the worship is over, the gogi will be baked and delicious.
