Sunset spots recognized by locals
Original Text
It is an observatory facing Lake Nakanoumi in Lake Towada. It is located on a narrow mountain road from National Highway 103 to the Mikura Peninsula toward the tip. From here you can see the cliffs of Nakayama Peninsula and Mikura Peninsula. It was said that it was a spot where you could see the beautiful autumn leaves of Lake Towada along with the Shimeitei Observatory, so I visited it. I visited just before the sunset, so I thought there would be no people, but I was surprised that many people came to see the sunset ...
It is the best observatory. It is the only observatory where you can see a special reserve that cannot be seen from land. Just dynamic! After that, I was able to go directly on Mr. Griland's boat tour, which was even more surprising. You can observe caves and ancient ruins.
It was a trip without renting a car, so I went on foot. It took about 45 minutes to walk from the JR bus Shimoutarube bus stop. On the way back, about 40 minutes walk to Lake Towada (Kyoya). It was quiet. However, it is highly recommended for those who like geoparks. You can see the two outer rings of the double caldera very well. Moreover, in front of you, it should be the deepest part of the lake after the eruption of the Heian period (although it is in the water, it is not visible). You can feel the uniqueness of Lake Towada ...
You may run narrow winding to get there, and even if the area around the statue of Oirase and maiden is crowded, the number of people visiting so far is sparse. The altitude is higher than I thought, and I can see a considerable part of Lake Towada, but due to geographical constraints, the whole visibility is not a landscape, and it is possible to make use of nature to peek from between trees 々.
It was located at the end of the peninsula between Konoguchi and the rest room, and the l process was a fairly mountain road. Because of the altitude, I could see the rest room peninsula well in the landscape of wide 々. I don't think there was a parking lot in particular.

Five minutes from Griland.

I'm free.

I looked at Lake Towada from the south.
