In collaboration with Melbourne-based fashion designers and sisters Fatuma and Laurinda Ndenzako from Collective Closets, the National Gallery of Victoria has created an engaging and meditative activity. Inspired by the beauty and rich history of the African continent, the design duo has crafted a workshop where young people can come together to create vibrant beaded bracelets. These unique bracelets celebrate the artisans who intricately craft each thread, as well as the wearers who showcase their individuality. It is a wonderful opportunity for teens to explore their creativity and express themselves through art. Bookings are essential as supplies are limited.
