Hosted by a BATS coach, the jam will take place on Sunday, November 5, at the Fort Mason Center for the Arts in San Francisco. During this drop-in session, participants will have two hours of fun, growth, and connection. The focus is on creating a supportive and enjoyable environment where students can meet new people and bring along a friend. The event is open to all adults aged 18 years or older, regardless of their previous experience in improv. The jam offers flexible pricing options to accommodate different preferences. Individual attendees can join for $30, while those who bring a buddy will receive a discounted rate of $25 per person. Additionally, groups of four can participate for just $20 per person. To ensure a safe and comfortable experience, BATS School of Improv has implemented community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy. It is mandatory for all participants to read and accept these policies before registering for the jam. Please note that BATS has a class refund policy in place. If you cancel your registration more than 96 hours (4 days) before the class begins, you will receive a refund minus a 15% processing fee. However, if you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of the first class or after attending the first session, your tuition will be forfeited. In the unlikely event that BATS cancels the class due to insufficient enrollment, your tuition will be fully refunded.
