The 2024 Michael P. Fencil Annual Golf Tournament will be held at The River Club in Lakewood Ranch on May 18, 2024. This event, sponsored by USA Fence, Last Call Tavern, and D&D Seamless Gutters, aims to raise funds for The Denis V. Cooper Foundation - Wishes for Heroes and Satchel's Last Resort. Honoring the memory of Michael P. Fencil, a retired military veteran who had a passion for animals and golf, the tournament supports veterans with terminal illnesses and aids in the rescue and rehoming of dogs and cats with nowhere else to go. The Denis V. Cooper Foundation - Wishes for Heroes fulfills the wishes of veterans facing terminal illnesses and those transitioning to civilian life after their military service. Satchel's Last Resort is a no-kill animal shelter dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding homes for animals in need.
