The 2024 Wildflower 5k Trail Fun Run/Walk is the perfect way to begin your day at the Santa Rosa-San Jacinto Mountains National Monument in Palm Desert. On February 24th, families and friends are invited to join this exciting event, starting at 8:00 AM on the Randall Henderson Trail. Registration opens at 7:30 AM for participants of all ages. Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature, as you witness stunning spring wildflowers and take in the breathtaking views of the Santa Rosa mountains. By participating in this family-friendly event, organized by Friends of the Desert Mountains, you are helping to preserve and protect our desert landscape. Please note that dogs and strollers are not permitted on the trail. The entrance fee is $35.00 per person and includes a t-shirt. Children aged 12 and under can register for free, without a t-shirt. Refunds are available if cancellation notice is received before February 17th. RSVP is required, and online sign-ups close at 12:00 PM on February 23rd.
