What You’ll Learn:
Introduction to Pattern Making
What is a pattern?
Essential tools of the trade.
Understanding pattern anatomy.
Pattern adaptions
What is a block, and why is it important?
Learn to create various skirt adaptations, including flared skirts, panel skirts with a yoke, and godets.
Learn to create various sleeve adaptations, such as a gathered sleeve head and a cuff.
Learn to make various collar adaptations, such as a Peter Pan and a classic collar.
Learn about dart manipulation.
How to properly label and mark individual pattern pieces with symbols and notches.
