Get off the train at Takaku Station in Kiryu in early August and you'll find a summer festival taking place from Suenohiromachi-dori to Honmachi-dori. There are events such as rolling a giant pill-shaped marble along the streets, a mikoshi procession, and a textile market. In the evening, the finals of the All Japan Yagi Festival competition are held, with performances by past winners and a Yagi Festival singing show. The city is decorated with towers and people revel in the Yagi Festival dance until late at night.

The Takasaki Fireworks Festival, held in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, is one of the largest fireworks festivals in the northern Kanto region, with approximately 15,000 fireworks illuminating the night sky. In addition to competitions featuring floats, portable shrines, and fireworks, the festival also showcases unique Takasaki Fireworks Festival displays such as the "Giant Daruma Portable Shrine" and the "Creative Daruma Portable Shrine," offering unique performances not found at other fireworks festivals. At the welcome plaza, a local restaurant has set up a tent called "Good Luck Takasaki Canteen," allowing you to enjoy local cuisine while watching the fireworks. Unlike typical fireworks displays that take about two hours to complete, this fireworks display is characterized by its extremely fast pace, finishing in just 50 minutes. The lively atmosphere, perfectly integrated with the festive spirit, is also a major highlight.

The Nitta Matsuri, a traditional summer festival, was held in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture. The festival concluded with a spectacular fireworks display. Various food stalls were set up, and a children's shrine parade began at 5 PM. A brass band from a local junior high school also performed, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the venue. In 2026, approximately 4,000 colorful fireworks are expected to be set off. A major highlight is the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular light and sound show up close, including starburst fireworks.

This original fireworks display was held in Numata City, Gunma Prefecture, and combined cutting-edge music and fireworks. The Numata Fireworks Display was restarted in 2013 (Heisei 25) after 43 years, aiming to improve the level of the fireworks display and let more people know the charm of Numata. In addition to the wonderful finale performance, the dazzling array of food stalls and the sale of specialty products from local restaurants also added infinite fun to the event.

The 1st Annual "Fresh Tone" Classic Golf Tournament is a special event dedicated to celebrating the life of Tony Munoz. This tournament is an opportunity for friends and family to come together and honor Tony in a way that reflects his wishes. The proceeds from this event will be donated to The 9 Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and preventing accidental overdoses. Additionally, the funds raised will also support the educational journey of Tony's girls. For those who would like to attend the event but do not wish to play golf, a dinner will be held at Mulligan's Cafe & Bar, starting at 6:00pm. Dinner tickets can be purchased for $40. If you are unable to participate in golf or dinner, donations are always welcome to support this important cause. To register for the tournament, teams of four can sign up for $700, which includes the golf fee, cart, swag bag, and dinner. Individual registrations are also available for $185, offering the same benefits. Check-in will begin at 11:00AM on the day of the event.
