The 17th Annual Medoc Trail Race in Hollister, NC, will take place on October 19, 2024, at Medoc Mountain State Park. The event offers two race options: a 10-mile race starting at 8:30 am and a 5-mile race starting at 8:45 am. The race course is brand new this year, featuring trails such as Weller, Saponi, Pyrite, and parts of Bear Swamp. Due to limited capacity, early registration is recommended as the event is expected to sell out quickly. Participants will receive a unique finisher medal, a commemorative shirt, enjoy bluegrass music, hot food, and experience well-marked trails with creatively named sections. The atmosphere promises to be fun and inclusive, creating a sense of a quirky family reunion for all involved.
