The Arts Management Forum: Issues Facing Nonprofits in 2023 & Beyond is back! Join the Alliance at Hofstra University in Hempstead on October 27th, 2023, as they address the challenges that lie ahead for nonprofit organizations in the arts. This in-person event is part of the 2023-2024 season of Arts and Culture Management Forums, featuring insightful conversations, workshops, and roundtables led by distinguished figures in the field of Arts, Culture, and Education. The forum will take place at the Hofstra University Student Center, Room 112, starting at 8:00 am. This October's session will focus on crucial topics such as Board Development, Workforce Management, Stewardship, and Governance for Arts and Culture leaders in Long Island. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a captivating conversation between Dr. Susan Poser, President of Hofstra University, and Lesley Rosenthal, Chief Operating Officer and Corporate Secretary of The Juilliard School. Before the forum begins, the Alliance will provide an update on their activities and accomplishments throughout 2023. Additionally, attendees will get an exclusive preview of what's in store for the LIAA in 2024, as well as an insight into the preliminary findings of the Arts & Economic Prosperity study. This event is free for LIAA members (up to 3 individuals per organization) and only $15.00 for non-members. A complimentary breakfast will be provided to all attendees.
