Get ready for an exciting season of Balto Advanced Pool Sessions 2023/24! We are thrilled to announce that the pool sessions have been booked and are ready to roll. Taking place at K Leisure in Athy, these sessions offer a unique opportunity for paddlers to enhance their skills and enjoy the sport.

There will be two sessions available, from 5-6 pm and 6-7 pm. The first session is dedicated to juniors and seniors who are looking to learn to roll, specifically L1-2 skills paddlers. In this session, experienced paddlers from the second session will lend a helping hand to ensure a supportive learning environment.

The second session is exclusively for L3 ability and above paddlers. This session allows paddlers to work independently on their own learning requirements. Please note that these sessions are DIY, meaning there will be no formal instruction. However, there will be experienced members in the pool who can provide assistance if needed.

For safety purposes, helmets are mandatory and must be worn at all times. Freestylers are required to stay in the deep end and should not paddle among the rest of the group, as freestyle poses a hazard to other paddlers.

The second session will start promptly at 6:00 pm, so it is essential for paddlers to arrive at the pool no later than 5:45 pm. Please be aware that the carpark closes strictly at 7:15 pm, so it is important to exit the venue promptly.

Please note that these sessions are exclusively for members of Balto KC. Non-members must receive prior approval from the committee and hold a current CI member number to participate. Any bookings that do not adhere to these rules will be canceled and refunded.

Unfortunately, we are unable to carry credits for missed sessions. Refunds will only be possible up to 1 week before the event. It is important to familiarize yourself with the club's constitution, code of conduct, and safeguarding policies, as they continue to apply to all pool sessions.
